TCR over the years has had differences with John McCain on issues like campaign finance reform, supply side tax cuts, and at times, immigration reform, but has always respected him as a man of principle.
In a positive move for conservative government, Harris County Texas Commissioners Court recently voted to withdraw from the Texas Association of Counties (TAC).
Recently, Robert Eckels, long time conservative county judge resigned and the vacancy was filled by former state representative Ed Emmett (last served 20 years ago.)
TCR is amazed that the media is ready to narrow the race down to four candidates this early.
