ISSUES 2024 – WHAT ARE WE CONCERNED ABOUT

According to the non-partisan Pew Research Center, our top problems of concern to voters are:

1. Inflation;
2. Affordability of health care;
3. Ability for both parties to work together;
4. Drug addiction;
5. Gun violence;
6. Violent crime;
7. Budget deficit;
8. The state of moral values;
9. K-12 public education quality;
10. Illegal immigration; and
11. Climate change.

Let’s have a campaign on issues, not demonization.

In Texas, the recent Hobby Center poll shows the most important issues influencing the 2024 Presidential Vote Decision for Likely Votes: 66% say border security and immigration, inflation, the economy, and the future of U.S. democracy.

OUT OF TOUCH WITH TEXAS – COLIN ALLRED –
DEMOCRATIC U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE

Allred votes in the House make clear he is out of touch with the vast majority of Texas voters. In three recent votes he proves he is not the moderate he claims to be, but in fact, is too radical for Texas.

The votes are:

• He voted NO on the Save Act, which requires proof of citizenship to register to vote. Seems like a no brainer unless your goal is cheating.
  
  
• Allred voted NO – protection of women and girls in sports that overturns the Biden administration Title IX rule which allows transgender men to participate in female sports.
  
  
• And finally, on the issue every Democratic 2024 Senate hopeful has voted yes, the sanctions request on the radical, anti-Semitic International Criminal Court for seeking to indict Israeli officials for the war with the terrorist group Hamas – Allred voted NO. Can he be trusted on support of Israel? No.
  
  

ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT UNDER-THE-RADAR
2024 RACES – HARRIS COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY

For anyone paying attention, radical pro-crime billionaire George Soros has been spending millions to take over District Attorney’s offices and implement his soft-on-crime agenda around the country. Our law-abiding citizens have never been under greater threats. The Soros agenda puts criminals first and citizens in the back of the bus, actually under the bus.

An objective review of Soros run District Attorney’s offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin and other cities, demonstrates that law enforcement has been abandoned and the criminals are winning.

This year, the Soros’ radical crowd picked Sean Teare and funded him with well over a million dollars in the Democratic primary with more coming for the November election. His platform embraces the soft-on-crime Soros agenda.

Fortunately, we have a choice with well-qualified pro-law enforcement and well qualified candidate to vote for, Dan Simons.

Who is Dan Simons?

Dan Simons was born and raised in Southeast Texas.

His family was very poor. During his childhood, there were times when he was homeless and had no choice but to live in cars or tents to survive. Dan was ultimately placed in foster care at a young age.

At the age of twelve, seeking some sense of stability so that he could graduate high school, he made the tough decision to move in with a family he met through the Salvation Army. Through sheer determination and hard work, he graduated in the top of his class and was named All-District Quarterback in his high school senior year. Dan became the first person in his family to graduate from high school.

After graduating from high school in 1996, he decided to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force.

In 2005, he moved back to Texas with the goal of furthering his education and become a lawyer. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2008, at the top of his class. He went on to Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011. He then received his Masters in Tax Law from the University of Houston in 2013.

As Assistant District Attorney, Dan handled thousands of cases. He had a total conviction rate of 84%.

In 2017, he left the DA’s office to work in private practice.

What is Dan’s agenda?

More on this race in the future. To be clear, we do not need to import Soros’ radical prop-crime policies to Harris County.

IRAN BEHIND GAZA PROTESTS

An announcement last week from Avril Haines the top intelligence official, in the Biden administration said that Iranian government-aligned actors are infiltrating, stoking and even funding anti-Israel protests in the U.S. This raised alarm bells among members of Congress and foreign policy experts. She warned of Iran “becoming increasingly aggressive in their foreign influence efforts,” she included little in the way of a policy response, beyond urging “all Americans to remain vigilant as they engage online with accounts and actors they do not personally know.” Wow, what are we doing about it?

Yet Another Democrat Ethics Reform Sham

For your awareness, Leonard Leo has released the following statement from his personal office regarding President Biden’s Supreme Court Announcement:

“No conservative justice has made any decision in any big case that surprised anyone, so let’s stop pretending this is about undue influence. It’s about Democrats destroying a court they don’t agree with.”

“If President Biden and the Democrats were truly serious about ethics reform, then they would ban all gifts and hospitality of any kind to any public official in any branch of government, starting with Congress, where the real corruption is. They would close all of the loopholes that allow Members to travel on private jets to fancy hotels and restaurants. With respect to judges, they would include the things where influence peddling is most present and dangerous—and that’s when the liberal Justices rub shoulders with influencers at places like law schools, bar associations, progressive think tanks and their conferences, and other groups and events funded by Left-wing billionaires, where they support real vested interests in the work of the Court.”

“Let me be clear: If Democrats want to adopt an across-the-board ethics ban for all branches, I am in favor of that: no jets, no meals, no speaking honorariums, no gifts for anyone from anyone for any reason in any branch, starting with Congress. Until they support that, let’s all be honest about what this is: a campaign to destroy a court that they disagree with.”
